Ion (a play on adoption) is a documentary contemporary dance performance based on fieldwork on the Bulgarian adoption parenting reality.
The performance is articulating different viewpoints on the topic in a verbatim verbal manner while performing complex dance scores following exactly the rhythm and the melody of the performer’s speech.

The performance is a winner at the Art Doc Grant Competition of N/TRY documentary platform.
